Scholarship Recipients

Because of the generosity of past and present members, Holy Trinity is able to award scholarship money each year.  These awards are but a small contribution to the cost of a higher education.  Their greater meaning, perhaps, is to assure the students of how much they are loved and appreciated by this congregation.  We pray for this year’s recipients, Chloe Mazza and Ellie Poethke,

and wish them success in their coursework and joy in their adventures.

Senior at Penn State Altoona

Degree: Biology with a focus on

Vertebrate Physiology

Minor: Environmental Studies

Chloe wants to continue on in her pursuit of higher education with a specialized degree in

Marine Biology, focusing on the sustainability of the ocean. Chloe is Captain of the Penn State women's bowling team, Vice President of the student body at Altoona and Executive Board member of PAWS. (Pets and Animals Welfare Society)

Senior at Drew University. 

Degree: Majoring in

Anthropology

Minors:  Museum Studies and German.
